“One cannot talk about Zendaya’s stylistic moments without mentioning Law Roach, fashion stylist or in his words image architect. He is one of the only stylists that has changed the trajectory of people’s careers through fashion, hence Zendaya’s red carpet fame. Before becoming a fashion stylist, Law owned a vintage boutique leading to the road of sourcing vintage garments to propel Zendaya’s trajectory into the world of fashion - an industry where she wasn’t invited into but interjected herself. He is the first stylist to win Council of Fashion Designers of America award in 2022, which is extreme significant as stylists have never been truly recognised for their work only their clients were given credit. Despite all his acclamations he is now a retired stylist, he chose to remove himself from a space that still isn’t prepared to open its doors and give up a seat to real talent of colour.
